Phillips, Craig, and Dean Concert Surprise!

It’s not always easy for me to find things to surprise my husband with. Not only are our lives fairly integrated, but I’m not good at keeping secrets!

I’m usually bursting at the seams because I’m excited that I actually found something to surprise him with!

But this time I succeeded!

One of my husband’s very favorite Christian groups for the last quarter century has been Phillips, Craig, and Dean, and I found out they were performing near here in Lancaster County. I was able to purchase tickets using my website’s email (which nobody checks but me) and I told him I was taking him on a date.

I did, however, have to tell someone, so I told the kids where I was taking him so they could be excited with me!

The group was at a venue that we hadn’t even known existed before this event so he was totally stumped until AFTER we got in the door, where we met up with our friend Tom (who had told me about the concert in the first place), and we told Jerry who he was there to see! He was really surprised and pleased!

And the concert was so wonderful and it’s always so precious to worship with fellow siblings-in-Christ. These songs took us both back to the early days of our walks with Jesus. (We both gave our hearts to the Lord in 1987, prior to meeting each other.)
