Why Do You Have Rocks In Your Sink?!

I love my chiropractor, Tom, and his wife Jennifer! They are an amazing couple with a shared heart to help people get well and improve their quality of life while honoring God in all they do. And Jennifer is one of the most vivacious, uplifting, and positive people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing!

It seems every time I visit their office they are experimenting with some new technique or product ~ always striving to offer their customers the very best service. Continue reading

Ancient Paths

Jeremiah 6:16 in the Septuagint tells us:

…Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths of the Lord; and see what is the good way, and walk in it, and ye shall find purification for your souls.

According to Vocabulary.com, purification is when things are cleaned and made pure. I like that definition. We need to always be seeking purification ~ cleansing. Striving to walk in the Lord’s ways, striving to be like him, striving to walk in His footsteps, allowing ourselves to be molded and refined for His glory. Cleansed. Continue reading

Coffee Shop Heart

My friend Erika was leaving One Good Woman, a local coffee/tea shop, today and she looked down and discovered that the wind had shaped the dead flower petals on the ground into a heart shape!

If you’re ever in the Camp Hill, PA area, check out One Good Woman at 1845 Market Street, for a fabulous array of coffee beans and loose teas!

Some of my favorite coffee flavors are Chocolate Raspberry, English Toffee, Rainforest Caramel Crunch, and Eggnog Creme Brulee.

Some of my favorite teas are Hot Cinnamon Spice (tastes like red hots!), Root Beer Rooibos (my mother loves this one!), and Arctic Raspberry (who knew they had raspberries in the arctic with a short growing season?).

Erika’s favorite coffees are Spiced Coconut Pecan (at Christmas time this is labeled Frosty’s Favorite) and Hawaiian Hazelnut.

You can find One Good Woman on the web at www.onegoodwoman.com. As of this writing, their website is experiencing a major overhaul. If you have an interest in something, give them a call ~ they do ship products.

Who Am I by Casting Crowns

Several years ago I was having a really “down” day and could feel myself slipping into a real pit of discouragement. I found myself alone in my home for a few hours and decided to sit and watch tv.

As I reached to open the armoire doors I distinctly heard the Lord say, ” I want you.”

I immediately let go of the armoire doors and went straight to the computer. Ever since I had woken up that day I had been singing this song ~ the Lord often gives me a song for the day.

I sat for the next two hours and played this song over and over again. When I was done, the spirit of depression was completely dispelled.

Isaiah 61:1-3 KJV

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

Privilege Quiz

It never ceases to amazing me at the bizarre things that are happening not only in our culture today but in some of this country’s public schools.

I just stumbled across this article today over at World Net Daily:

http://mobile.wnd.com/2016/04/parents-furious-over-7th-grade-quiz-on-privilege/

Look at this “Privilege Quiz.”

Students at Monroe Middle School in Tampa, Florida, were asked to fill out a "How privileged are you?" form by a Spanish teacher (Photo: WTSP-10 screenshot)

This is in a MIDDLE SCHOOL for crying out loud!

It just keeps getting weirder and weirder.

If you homeschool, just hug your children today and be grateful that you have them with you. Then pray for the children of this nation.

Rick Wiles From TruNews.com

Rick Wiles is the incredibly brave, outspoken Christian radio host of TruNews.com. Rick was given a vision of September 11th, 2001, before it happened. When a man of God prophetically sees an event such as 9/11, it’s important that we stand up and take notice.

He can be found at www.TruNews.com. Under “Radio” click on “Listen.” The posts starting with the day of the week and the date are daily radio programs. The first half of each broadcast is Rick’s personal news and commentary and ABSOLUTELY worth listening to daily. Especially if you want a good dose of old-fashioned common sense. During the second half of the show Rick interviews a guest.

Rick was on the Jim Bakker show in August 2015. I have posted the videos below. I would STRONGLY suggest you prayerfully listen to every word of all three videos, including the preaching and the selling of products. EXTREMELY informative!

Pray and ask God to show you how to prepare your family for the days ahead.
